Anthony Sylvestre holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Education and Bachelor's in Law. He is an attorney-at-law by profession, but brings with him knowledge and experience from serving on bodies such as the Belize Advisory Council, the Belize Advisory Council on the Guatemalan Claim, the Income and Business Tax Appeals Board and the Policy and the Legislative Sub-Committee of the National Aids Commission. He currently serves as a Director on the Belize Infrastructure Limited and is Chairman of the Board of Trustee of the University of Belize, where he was an adjunct lecturer between 2010 and 2019. He also served as a Senator in the National Assembly from 2014 - 2016.
