Closing Account         

Closing Accounts refers to when a customer requires that his/her account be
closed and the electrical service disconnected. To process the following,
visit the
nearest Customer Care office or submit a signed request.

Requirement for Residential Customers:

  1. If a disconnection is requested on the behalf of the account holder, a written
    and signed request from the account holder MUST be presented along with
    a copy of the account holder’s Social Security Card.
  2. Meter number or copy of electricity bill.
  3. Outstanding balance must be paid upon request.
  4. Forwarding address where the last bill will be delivered, must be provided.
  5. Contact number(s) / e-mail address

Requirement for Commercial Customers:

  1. Request MUST be submitted in writing (The document MUST be on a
    company letterhead and/or with a company stamp.)
  2. Written request must be signed by business owner or his/her authorized
    designate, along with a copy of signatories
  3. Social Security Card or passport.
  4. Meter number or copy of electricity bill.
  5. Outstanding balance must be paid upon request.
  6. Forwarding address where the last bill will be delivered, must be provided.
  7. Contact number(s) / email address(s).
